Waited ’til this looked empty, then attempted to see how far could get.

Positive Feedback: Glad that attempted! LOVED the builds and storyline!!! Loved that Step 20 tested mental dexterity (yay, puzzle) as opposed to manual dexterity (whoo, no super hard one-way gate maze)!!!

Critique: Step 20. Algorithm/optimization puzzle. Gamers burn out faster from these types of games, b/c they require cognitive speed, than those that require hand-eye coordination (ex. one-way gate maze), especially when there are long queues.

Recent quests, where there are multiple game rooms with either ticketed entry and/or outer game queues, and times matching level of difficulty, have been considered some of the better builds by the community. These measures prevent frustration from disruption of strategy and interruption of gained momentum.

Thank you, Habbox!!!!!!! Happy Stupid-Cupid Day, All!!!! Thanks for the guide!!! ☺︎

Oh, brilliant masterminds of digital suffering, might you, in your infinite wisdom, cast a merciful glance upon the glorious “Bridged Together” phase? The queue is so impressively massive it feels less like matchmaking and more like applying for citizenship in another country. And when we finally get in? Two minutes. Two. Beautifully inadequate. Barely enough time to blink, let alone complete the task.

Now, I adore difficult games. Truly. Challenge is exciting. Challenge is rewarding. But this? This is not difficulty — it’s an endurance trial disguised as gameplay. A psychological obstacle course wrapped in loading screens.

Why, in the name of basic game design logic, can we not complete the other tasks first and save this masterpiece of frustration for last? Must we all collectively suffer in synchronized queue purgatory?

Yesterday I generously donated 3 hours of my life. Today, another 4. Seven hours total — the length of a full work shift — and my reward? The sweet, hollow echo of failure and the eternal spinning queue.

So I ask, with theatrical sincerity:
What exactly is going on here?
Is this an event… or a secret social experiment?

With love, exhaustion, and just a hint of dramatic despair.

feels like every habbox event is extremely long / time consuming lately

A lot of time and effort from our builders has gone into these events. We make them to give the community something to do, unfortunately most users such as yourself seem to want a badge just for entering a room, we’ve built hubs which allow you to leave and come back when ever you want with your progress being saved.

I managed to finish it after about 2 hours. Some rooms are basically “go this way,” while others are designed to completely mess with your head. There was some help from the owner in the wires room, but not for every user, and I honestly don’t know how you’re supposed to apply all of the owner’s hints within 2 minutes. Sure, the room won’t always be this crowded, but if there are several users in the room and you have such a difficult game, it can’t be that you have to wait 30 minutes per attempt because of the queue. And even if the owner says, “Come back later and you won’t have to wait,” that doesn’t change the fact that this game is absolutely user-unfriendly.
