As this event has mixed opinions and triggered extensive discussions, HabboQuests would like to offer you all some friendly reminders.

This is a user-made event that Habbo staff have approved. The responsibilities for hosting an event are shared between the user and Habbo, so please be mindful when sharing your opinions that this is not a one-sided process. Habbo typically market Pride during July, rather than June and representation for the community is generally done through user and fansite-made events. Representation for the LGBTQIA+ community is important across all media including in real life and online, so events around Pride on Habbo should be encouraged. HabboQuests feels strongly that the LGBTQIA+ community should be able to share their opinions freely, with that said, please be considerate of the fact that user-made events are made by normal, real users and not a company. Harassment is not the end goal and is not what the community is about.

Jay please enlighten me in to which part of my one comment i made was hurtful or hateful. I will gladly apologize if you point me in the right direction. Instead of tagging me to read something, being passive aggressive. Maybe you should like to take your own advice and read it yourself again.

finally got this xx thanks again for the event and the guide! love the badges!
Posted by JewlzyBear 2 years ago
Thank you for the guide the badges are adorable and the event looks very fun , I'll be grabbing them later on today 🙂
Posted by Joshie 2 years ago
I thought this event was enjoyable and I had no issues really. Not every room was rainbow themed, sure, but it didn't bother me. I really don't understand why some people are having a go at the creator when all its supposed to be is an event celebrating Pride, which I feel does its job. Thanks for the guide as always, and the beautiful badges! 🌈
Posted by Tortillas 2 years ago
y'all in the comments acting like pride mazes don't have random maze rooms literally every year and i never seen none of you complain. let's not sh!!t on someone's first event bc you decided to be entitled this year :-) we're lucky it was an easy event for once.
Posted by Eemaaannnn 2 years ago
As a member of the LGBTIA+ community, I understand that some may have concerns about certain spaces or aspects of the event not feeling inclusive, but I truly believe that the intention behind the event is to celebrate and show respect for the LGBTIA+ community which I felt the moment I entered the first room and finished the game. Additionally, it’s an easy event, and everyone can easily obtain the two cute badges.
Posted by Pillow 2 years ago
I don't know what all the complaints are about. There have been so many basic pride events in the past and this one is no different. I found there to be plenty of rainbow themed rooms that fit the LGBTQ aesthetic. The games were fun and any pride representation is better than none.
SwiftieZoe replied 2 years ago
thank you so much for your feedback means a lot I hope you enjoyed the event

cute badges, ty for the guide! Got up to step 9 and after spending ages in there and not getting any closer using Thinkpad, I think ill pass!

idk why y'all arguing about this event but I got both badges. Thanks for the guide!
step 20 was hell lmfao
Posted by Biont 2 years ago
do you guys go outside to advocate for the lgbtq in your communities or is your activism just exclusive to habbo hotel? while i understand the skepticism in whether this event does justice towards pride month and what it stands for, i feel like the outrage is at best, performative and some of you would derive much more satisfaction and meaning by exploring other avenues for solidarity within the lgbtq community .... thanks for the event though well done
Keegan replied 2 years ago
I do actually as I’m very proud of the community I’m in and want to spread as much positivity and awareness as I can in the world. If that’s in real life or a game, I don’t see the problem with that. Don’t try and come across like lgbtq people shouldn’t be upset about a pride event that has no meaning. If people want to show upset and how they feel that’s fine, nobody has been rude. If you can’t deal with positives and negatives of a badge event then you shouldn’t be making any. Simple as.

haven’t seen a HQ guide comment section this poppin since my event was shut down
Posted by Luq 2 years ago
i dont recall HQ pride mazes having much relation to LGBTQ+ in the past either. so idk what yall are on about. what has roller mazes and one way gates got to do with pride?
Kaf replied 2 years ago
Luq Understood and thank you for explaining! Hopefully, my pinned comment will help remind people to be considerate of the language they're using when sharing opinions ❤
Luq replied 2 years ago
Kaf my suggestion is for people not be hypocritical, that's all. i have no issues with HQ pride mazes, just unnecessary uproars
Kaf replied 2 years ago
Luq I'm sorry you feel that way Luq, would you like to recommend any way we could improve? There are limited ways in which we can celebrate Pride on Habbo, so if you have any suggestions, please do let us know 😊
Luq replied 2 years ago
Kaf *
Luq replied 2 years ago
Kat still does not relate to LGBTQ. i’m just pointing out the hypocrisy here in some people. i could say this event offered some educational information through “fun” games as well (fun is subjective).
Kaf replied 2 years ago
Luq I can't speak for the whole community, but I feel many have shared their views as to why this may not feel like an event that focused on LGBTQIA+ Pride. Trying to drag HQ when we've been loud and proud of our queer community for 10+ years and dedicate an annual maze that the community looks forward to, is not the move. Our maze offers educational information throughout, thoroughly covering the queer spectrum and you get to engage in fun games at the same time. Nobody logs into Habbo to learn about the LGBTQIA+ community, but if we can offer a fun AND educational experience at the same time, I feel that's a win for the community.
Luq replied 2 years ago
Kaf that's fine, but rollers and one ways still has got nothing to do with pride/LGBT. This maze has levels that also spreads awareness. So why is it being scrutinized just because each room does not have a message on LGBT?
Kaf replied 2 years ago
Each room for HQ Rainbow Maze is dedicated to the different identities within the LGBTQIA+ community with informative information, facts and awareness; as well as being built by our queer community. This has been how we've done it for many, many years. This comparison is unwarranted and unparalleled.
Luq replied 2 years ago
we can all agree the event was boring and just a bunch of over used games though
Posted by kitten 2 years ago
Something really wrong about slapping your name on a Pride badge for an event that doesn't even represent what it was supposed to. The outrage is definitely justified for that alone. Thanks for the guide x
Posted by Millenia 2 years ago
I see a lot of privileged people in the comments that lack appreciation and gratitude. To the creators of the event, it was fun! Keep doing you and never change who you are to please others. All these haters should create their own mazes to their own preference instead of sh!!!tting on others.
Keegan replied 2 years ago
And who are you to tell anyone what they can dislike and like. Who are you to call anyone privileged? Telling us to create our own mazes. If we want to share our negative opinions we can, as long as we’re respectful. Are you in charge of habbo events? Hun sit down. Nobody asked anyone to change. So let’s not add anything extra for no reason.
Millenia replied 2 years ago
Everyone has their own views on what pride means to them. Share them but don't project onto others what you think is right. You took my comment personal and defending your cause that's cool however "If you can't take that, then habbo ain't for you".. Who TF are you to say who can and cannot play habbo lol
Keegan replied 2 years ago
I’ve already created my own mazes and at least with mine I show the importance and try to balance both a fun event whilst also trying to spread awareness in regards to the theme of the event. If you’re going to create a pride event, then make it pride related. You could have just removed the pride aspect from this event and called it a random maze. The badges have no relation in to what this event was trying to reach. I’m not privileged but I’m highly educated. It’s good to provide criticism as it helps with future events. I’ve not been rude or disrespectful, I’ve been highly honest. If you can’t take that, then habbo ain’t for you.
Posted by Shuh 2 years ago
Talking as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I really dont think this event is an issue worth writing essays over to be honest. This is an event aimed to a small online community with less than 500 active people, the owners are not advocating at the United Nations or trying to solve warcrimes. So yes, while I agree that the maze could be more LGBTQ+ related but all in all, it really doesn't deserve the outrage I've seen in the comments about not being representative enough or being performative, there are bigger issues at hand in bigger, more important communities and IRL and we should focus on those rather than nitpicking and fighting over a small event by new builders on a VIRTUAL GAME.
Posted by Rainbow 2 years ago
I think the point of an event that *would* be about Pride is actually having information and decoration that fits the aesthetic. For me the part that was missing; informative games about LGBTQ, i like playing and reading about what LGBTQ actually is. That way you can play and learn within. For example, how can i know who was the first transgender and who pushed for the LGBTQ rights? Either way, in my opinion, the decoration, information, and games were something that could have been a little bit more towards the Pride theme. I understand that if it's your first time wiring this then asking for help with wired is also a good thing, there is always room for improvement. That way you can learn and understand better what each wired does, there is actually a wired server on discord dedicated to this! (Made by sirjonas, the one that brought variables to Habbo) Also the people who have commented underneath here have only provided their own opinion which they are allowed to do. However, maybe future wise if you want to do a Pride event, then do some research first and add some facts here and there. A pride room is about being colorful, understanding what it feels like to be in this community. If you are missing that then sadly, you will have different opinions which is ok! It's still feedback that you have to accept since we users, are the ones playing the event. I want to add that, i know this might've not been something we have hoped for but it's great that SwiftieZoe tried to make something !
SwiftieZoe replied 2 years ago
thank you for your comment I will defo take this onboard its obviously my first time doing a pride event.but overall i've enjoyed it and hope to host more badge events in the future
Posted by SwiftieZoe 2 years ago
hey everyone, I just wanted to thank those who's left positive comments about my event. What I do not appreciate is feeling personally attacked about the event myself and my friends put together for you all to enjoy, I understand it's not exactly what people were expecting, All I wanted was to put together an easy/doable event for EVERYONE to enjoy. you got to understand how much hard work went on behind the scenes myself Nerohae and James worked round the clock to make sure this event was perfect and fun. We tested all the rooms every single day to make sure nothing would break or have any issues. Please refrain from the negativity as it's personally upsetting me.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my feedback on this.

Rainbow24 Am sure there have been several events about countries and several other topics, over the years, where the community has wanted to learn more about the subject matter that was either slightly mentioned or fully represented. But at the end of the day, it's up the people to want to learn and do the work to educate themselves (outside of Habbo), regardless of missed opportunities within an event. If this is the only Pride event this summer, which there are usually several, maybe you, and whoever else feels that pride wasn't done justice, could consider helping to create an even better one next year. There's even potential to team up with the new builders, to encourage each other, and work together to achieve something beautiful, instead of belittling people and choosing to focus so much on what this one lacked. ☺︎ *Sending positive vibes*

I’ve learnt that some people can never be pleased. When there’s easy, fun & doable badge events you guys complain. When there’s EXTRA hard badge events that can’t even be achieved without the help of badge services or x-mouse you guys COMPLAIN! how about some of you stop being little jerks & actually give credit where it’s due without bringing this owner down. how about u show some type of love?

I think that this was a lovely event! the rooms were cool & the badges were amazing. i honestly think that all of the persons complaining are apart of the LGBTQ community & no hate to you guys at all but I think some of you are reaching. get a grip and stop being a dk!

thanks for the guide! x 🩷
Shortbread replied 2 years ago
yes the LGBTQ community are ''complaining'' because we are tired of people attaching ''pride'' to an event for the cute aesthetics of a rainbow badge. your not showing us support by making an event that has nothing to do with LGBTQ at all. no room was heavily inspired or designed with LGBT or pride in mind, nor was there any helpful information at all throughout that event to ''raise'' or show support to our community in anyway. she made an event and slapped ''pride'' on top of it. she did not in fact make a PRIDE event and i think its SO IMPORTANT to learn the difference. don't use ''pride'' or LGBTQ as a gimmick to make a cute event and go ''look I'm showing support'' no your not, you just wanted to have an event with cute badges and in that case cater your event around literally anything else, granted some of the comments might be a little hasty and unnecessarily harsh, but i think it's fair to say that if someone's apart of the LGBTQ community and feels they aren't being represented by this event they're allowed to voice that! actual gameplay and ''event'' aside, the rooms weren't even decorated to cater around being a ''pride'' event.... and people were even saying the owner was adding last minute rainbows in rooms because of the complaints.... thats not it... lol anyway im done with my little rant, but i hope you educate yourself before leaving a comment telling the LGBTQ that we are ''reaching'' x
Keegan replied 2 years ago
Leah hun, I rarely speak on these badge guides. I don’t care if the event is easy or hard. The point is, you are trying to celebrate a cause which is why this event was made. It has nothing to do with the cause nor is it even spreading awareness. Throwing some coloured tiles down is nothing and some mushrooms and crabs and a cafe what’s it got to do with it? Yes I’m apart of that community and if I wanna talk about it then I will. I have no personal issues with the owner of this event but I’m not going to praise something that I don’t think is a positive thing. Some awareness would have been nice considering habbo barely even mentions pride lol. Badges are cool but a cool event showing the importance of lgbtq people would have been better.
Posted by Luq 2 years ago
not yall acting like there hasn't been enough awareness in the world/the game (habbo is literally the gayest game there is). a habbo game isn't gonna turn a homophobe around. so why not let live and enjoy. that being said, it looks boring.
Keegan replied 2 years ago
Habbo is the gayest game there is? More like hell. Can’t live and enjoy something that isn’t fun lad
Posted by mishka440 2 years ago
Well umm... Besides everyone complaining about pride and rainbows, Most rooms weren't too bad. Not having walkthrough on meant alot of people just blocked us thru advancing. I just wish all these badges were more thought thru of how they work with 20 people are doing it + trolls asking for hc to move lol. The mazes are getting really old by know, but I think we all knew that. But me and fran made it thru without serious hiccups. Thanks for the guide ❤️
Keegan replied 2 years ago
We’re not complaining about rainbows so I think you’re missing the point entirely. Do some research and you’ll understand completely why people are mad.

Super cute badges and a fun maze to do!
We should all be grateful that Zoe and her friends have taken the time to build this maze and put something together for a Pride event that otherwise wouldn't have been celebrated by a badge event in habbo.
Good job Zoe and your friends and I can't wait to see what you come up with for your next event! ❤️
Posted by cheetah 2 years ago
Glad some colour tiles were added, wouldn't have known it's a pride themed event.

Cute rooms! Got both badges! Thanks for the guide! Well Done Zoe!
Posted by cosyrain 2 years ago
is the pride theme in the room with us right now
Posted by Keegan 2 years ago
and what the hell do avoiding mushrooms have anything to do with pride or lgbtq. I'll stop ranting now. If you're going to do an event on pride and lgbtq awareness please put effort into it and not basic games that have nothing to do with what your celebrating.
Keegan replied 2 years ago
CuppaTea sorry how's this supporting the cause? I didn't see anything in this event that is supporting lgbtq apart from a few telephrase questions. It has nothing to do with lgbtq pride apart from a few rainbow things. I'm not tearing anyone down, I'm providing constructive criticism. I didn't like it so I'm providing my feedback. Simple as. I said the badges are cute, that's positive. Go look at last year's and the year before, there's never any efforts made into making positive and good lgbtq+ events for pride month. It's lazy and very disappointing. Nothing personal to whoever made the event but I'm just not a fan.
Rainbow24 replied 2 years ago
(This reply is aimed at CuppaTea)

You're totally right, we do need to support our new builders however, building a 'Pride' Themed event with very little Pride furni or content isnt a pride event. its a regular event. Habbo has so much Pride theme furni and a wide range of furni to use in Builders Club. This event had so much potential but this was wasted. Instead we got an event with very little representation of LGBTQIA+. The only Pride thing about this event was the colour tiles and singular rainbows placed last minute in each room. Instead of being a regular badge event, they could of added LGBTQIA+ Flag themed rooms, including a brief description of every sexuality with a fun mini game. Or a room themed the history of Stonewall. But sadly the owner didn't look within themselves when planning this event. Which is honestly a shame.
CuppaTea replied 2 years ago
Mannnn, you all are seriously killing the Love is Love Vibe with all that negativity.

Why are you tearing someone down who is ATTEMPTING to support the cause, with the what is or isn’t “pride” enough debate??? A doable event with MORE people IS a way to raise some awareness, however little or much.

New builders = new ideas (it takes time to learn).
Encouragement and positive/constructive criticism = growth.
Rainbow24 replied 2 years ago
I completely agree. So much potential but it was wasted just because the owner wants free badges and 'some’ fame x
Posted by Keegan 2 years ago
Why is this event not really celebrating pride? Like what's so pride about it? The games are unoriginal and not fun at all. The badges are cute but it's a shame the event isn't really screaming pride and be proud. It's the same every year, I swear nobody puts the effort in to spread the message across. Forget the basic games, it's about spreading awareness. Thanks for the guide.
Posted by dyl 2 years ago
colour tiles do not = pride. had the potential to be a really great event with how wonderful the badges are but unfortunately missed the mark. would’ve been better suited as a standard badge event and not an event riding on the coattails of pride month.
Posted by Adeus 2 years ago
Congratulations on your second badge event Zoe. Although I agree with the lack of cohesiveness, I enjoyed Nerohae's pride themed rooms and LOVE bunnycakes badge designs. Thanks for the guide!

This maze is so janky and basic at the same time. Disappointed with the fact there's very little to no pride theme in the majority of these rooms too. wiring was being fixed as people were going through and when others were bringing up the lack of pride theme, one rainbow was being added to some of the rooms. Really was expecting some more creativity. Getting bored of the same mazes over and over again.

Badges are cute but the rooms…not so much. First few rooms look like they were made in 2mins and very boxy. Lacking in furni and some of the wireds don’t work. Honestly it’s a disappointment and I think the room owner could have done better. Not a fan of the roller mazes either.

You are talking out your arse. It’s pure utter shit that you and her were just mutual friends. You were “besties uwu”, and how ironic that you’ve changed your profile picture now. Jokes on you, we all know how much of a twat you are, acting like a big man.. you aren’t big, you’re pathetic.
Rainbow24 replied 2 years ago
Sunsetdreams. First off, my friendships are non of your business. If you must know, me and Zoe are no longer 'best friends’ for our own reasons, I purposely distanced myself from her as I no longer want to be in a relationship with her. Second, I’m only feeding back on the poorly planned/built event. This event was so disappointing and I’ll let you read the comments above as they will clearly explain the many issues this it has. Going back to me and Zoe, no we haven’t been best friends for years, we’ve been mutual friends up until last year and now no longer in contact. If I chose to not support this event then that’s my decision not yours. If you love this event so much then great, good for you.
sunsetdreams. replied 2 years ago
Your profile picture is on here is literally you with SwiftieZoe. Stop acting like you don’t know the girl and that you weren’t best friends with her for years. You talk about her trying to impress people when it’s you who’s trying to act the big man and completely belittle her in front of others, just so you can feel good about yourself. It’s disgusting and so are you.
